Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy explains what RAGHUNI covers after you buy a certified refurbished product, how long coverage lasts, what is excluded, and how to raise a service request.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Overview

RAGHUNI stands behind every eligible product sold on our website. Refurbished devices are pre-owned units that have been inspected, tested, cleaned, graded, and prepared for resale. Warranty is provided by RAGHUNI (unless a brand/OEM warranty is specifically mentioned on the product page).

Warranty starts from the date of delivery to the shipping address on your order. The exact duration for each product is shown on the product page, order confirmation, and GST invoice. If those sources differ, the invoice prevails.

2. Standard warranty periods

Unless a product listing states otherwise, the following standard periods apply:

  • Laptops & notebooks: 6–12 months from delivery
  • Desktops, mini PCs & all-in-ones: 6–12 months from delivery
  • Monitors: 6 months from delivery (panel defects covered as per diagnosis)
  • Storage drives sold separately (SSD/HDD/NVMe): 6 months from delivery
  • Accessories (docks, chargers, keyboards, mice, hubs, bags): 6 months from delivery
  • Components (RAM/GPU/etc. when sold separately): 6 months from delivery

3. What is covered

Warranty covers functional hardware defects arising under normal use during the warranty period. Depending on diagnosis, we may repair the unit, replace it with an equivalent refurbished unit of similar grade/specs, or issue a refund/store credit.

  • Motherboard / system board failures
  • CPU / GPU failures that prevent normal operation (where applicable)
  • RAM or storage failure when those parts were supplied as part of the sold configuration
  • Display failures such as dead panel, severe backlight failure, or widespread dead pixels beyond acceptable grading limits
  • Keyboard / trackpad functional failure under normal use
  • Charging circuit / DC jack issues not caused by physical damage or incorrect adapters
  • Wi-Fi / Bluetooth module failures under normal use
  • Power-on failures diagnosed as hardware fault (not OS corruption alone)

4. Condition grades & cosmetic expectations

Refurbished products are sold under condition grades such as Pre-Loved, Excellent, Very Good, or Good. Cosmetic wear consistent with the listed grade (light scratches, scuffs, keyboard shine, minor dents) is not a warranty defect.

Photos on the website are representative. Minor variations in appearance between units of the same model/grade are normal and not grounds for warranty replacement.

5. Battery & power adapters

Laptop batteries are consumables. A refurbished laptop may ship with a battery that has reduced maximum capacity compared with a brand-new unit. Battery is covered under warranty only if it fails abnormally (for example: no charge, rapid shutdown under light use, or unsafe swelling) within the product’s warranty window.

If a charger/adapter is included, it is covered for functional failure under normal use for the accessory warranty period. Damage from bent pins, crushed cables, use of incompatible third-party chargers, or power surges may be excluded after inspection.

6. Software, OS & data

Warranty covers hardware. It does not guarantee compatibility with every software title, peripheral, or network environment.

Operating system licenses (when included) are provided as stated on the listing. Reinstallation, driver updates, and basic setup guidance may be offered as support, but software troubleshooting beyond device functionality is not a warranty obligation.

Please back up your data before sending a device for service. During repair/replacement we may wipe storage. We are not responsible for loss of data, software, or personal settings.

7. What is not covered

  • Physical damage: cracks, impact damage, bent chassis, broken hinges from force, crushed ports
  • Liquid / moisture damage or corrosion evidence
  • Unauthorized repair, opened seals (where applicable), or non-approved parts installed by the customer
  • Burns, deep scratches, or cosmetic issues beyond the sold grade
  • Issues from misuse, overclocking, mining, extreme heat, or unsafe ambient conditions
  • Virus/malware, accidental file deletion, or OS corruption without hardware fault
  • Accessories or parts not supplied by RAGHUNI with the order
  • Normal wear of keyboards, trackpads, and exterior plastics/metal finishes
  • Commercial downtime, data recovery costs, or consequential losses

8. How to raise a warranty claim

Contact us as soon as you notice an issue. Faster reporting helps diagnosis and resolution.

  • Share order ID / invoice number, product model, and serial number (if available)
  • Describe the issue clearly: when it started, how often it happens, and steps to reproduce
  • Attach clear photos/videos of the fault, error messages, and overall device condition
  • Our team issues an RMA / service ticket if the claim is accepted for inspection
  • Do not ship any device until pickup/drop-off is confirmed by support

9. Service process & timelines

After we receive the device, our technicians inspect and diagnose the reported issue. Typical service turnaround is 7–15 business days after the device reaches our facility, depending on parts availability and repair complexity.

If the product is replaced, the replacement may be a same or equivalent model/configuration based on stock. Remaining warranty continues from the original purchase delivery date unless we state otherwise in writing.

If inspection finds the issue is not covered (for example physical damage), we will inform you before proceeding. Return logistics in such cases may be chargeable.

10. Customer responsibilities

  • Use the device with the correct power adapter and safe power conditions
  • Keep packaging/accessories when possible for safer reverse logistics
  • Provide accurate contact details for pickup and status updates
  • Remove passwords, Find My Device locks, BIOS passwords, and personal accessories before service where possible
  • Do not continue using a device that shows unsafe symptoms (smoke, swelling battery, extreme heat)

11. Transferability

Warranty is generally provided to the original purchaser on the invoice. Transfer to a new owner may be allowed at our discretion if the request is raised with invoice proof and within the original warranty term.
